24 people have been admitted to University Hospital Kerry without a bed to accommodate them.
17 of these patients are on trolleys are in the emergency department, and a further seven are on trolleys elsewhere in the hospital.
Nationally, 435 admitted patients are waiting for beds.

The worst affected hospital in the country is University Hospital Limerick, with 99 people on trolleys.
