There are 22 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.
That’s according to figures from the Irish Nurses' and Midwives' Organisation.
There are 17 patients waiting on trolleys in UHK’s ED today, while a further five people are on trolleys in wards in the hospital.

Nationally, there are 524 people waiting for a bed in hospitals today.
University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected by overcrowding with 85 people waiting on trolleys there.
