The Environmental Protection Agency has issued bathing water prior warnings in Kerry for today and tomorrow, June 2nd and 3rd.
The warning is put in place just two days after the start of the year's official bathing season.
Due to the status yellow rain warning, there is a risk of deterioration in water quality due to the expected heavy rainfall.
Both Ballybunion beaches, as well as beaches in Fenit, Ventry, Kells, Cuas Crom, White Strand, Inny Strand and Ballinskelligs are all affected.
More details are available on the EPA's beaches.ie website.
