1,012 new COVID-19 cases and 3 deaths this evening

1,012 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported to the Department of Health this evening.

The Department has been informed of 3 new COVID-19 related deaths.

Of this evening’s cases, 241 are in Dublin, 112 in Cork, 80 in Cavan, 72 in Meath, 66 in Galway, and the remaining 441 cases are spread across 21 other counties.

Thursday’s 36 cases have been added to Kerry’s total in the county-by-county breakdown.

As of midnight on Thursday, the total number of confirmed cases in the county is 515.
