Met Éireann have issued a STATUS YELLOW wind warning for Kerry.
The warning has also been issued for counties Cork, Limerick, Clare, Galway, Mayo, Leitrim, Sligo and Donegal.
Very strong southerly winds developing during Bank Holiday Monday.
Winds of 45-55 km/h with gusts of 90 to 100 km/h.
Along the coast winds will reach 55-65 km/h in the afternoon with gusts between 100 and 110 km/h and strong gales at sea.
The warning is in effect until 9pm Monday night.
