Christian Gleasure returns in Episode 4 to explore how young people's voices are represented in national politics and policy-making. Through conversations with Minister for Children, Disability and Equality Norma Foley and Minister for Rural and Community Development Dara Calleary, the programme examines issues including education, school stress, youth mental health, transport, rural development, youth facilities and community participation, highlighting the importance of ensuring young people have a voice in shaping the policies that affect their lives.
"Policy is more enriched when you have embedded in it the views, the experiences, the ambitions and expectations of young people."
