Christian Gleasure is a member of Kerry Comhairle na nÓg's Steering Committee, a delegate to Seanad na nÓg, and a Youth Advisory Group member to the Department of Children, Disability and Equality, representing young people at local, national and European level.
In the first episode of Voices of the Future in Kerry, Christian explores environmental action in schools and the role young people can play in responding to climate change. He speaks with fellow Mercy Mounthawk student Tom Gleasure, a member of the school's Environmental Committee, about projects including the GLOBE Ireland programme, Sustownability, biodiversity initiatives, active travel and the steps students are taking to make their school and community more sustainable.
