World number-2 out of US Open

World number-2 Alexander Zverev has pulled out of the upcoming US Open.

Ther German is still recovering from an ankle injury sustained during his French Open semi-final with Rafa Nadal.

American Stefan Kozlov will replace Zverev in the main draw, with the final slam of the year underway on the 29th of this month.
