Tralee Parnells Hurling and Camogie Club weekly notes

U14 Hurling
Our U14 boys continued their county championship last Friday evening with a semi-final victory over St Brendan’s Ardfert on a scoreline of 5-11 to 1-5. Our thanks to John Hennessy for his officiating on the night, and to St Brendan’s for a sporting game. The boys can now look forward to an “A” county final against Ballyduff, with the time and venue to be confirmed.

Minor Hurlers
Our minor hurling team was victorious over Kenmare/Kilgarvan last Wednesday evening in the county championship quarter-final. It finished Kenmare Parnells 5-10, Kenmare/Kilgarvan 4-7. Many thanks to Brian O’Sullivan for refereeing on the night. Next up is a home county championship semi-final against Ballyheigue this Wednesday at 7pm.

U12 Hurling
Well done to our U12 hurling team, who hosted St Brendan’s Ardfert last Thursday. It was a well-contested game, with lots of skill and improvement on show from both sides.
Tralee Parnells Senior Camogie
Our senior camogie team is currently recruiting new players. Players of all levels are welcome to come along and be part of the team, whether you have prior experience or are giving it a shot for the first time! Contact 085 1355566 for more information.

All-Ireland Football Final
Everyone in Tralee Parnells wishes Jack O’Connor and the Kerry senior football team the very best in Croke Park this Sunday in the All-Ireland final against Mayo.

Kerry Camogie
Hard luck to the Kerry senior camogie team, who lost out to Laois in the semi-final of the Intermediate Camogie Championship. The squad had a very successful year, winning Division Two and securing promotion to Division 1B for 2027. We are very proud of our own club representatives on the panel, Anna Chute and Orla Leahy.

U14 Kerry Camogie
Well done to Caoimhe Field and Katyanna O’Connor Chawke, who represented the Kerry U14s in Roscommon over the weekend. Well done, girls.
