Fifteen year old Russian, Kamila Valieva was left in tears at the end of her figure skating routine as she launched her bid for Winter Olympic gold.
She was allowed to compete in Beijing after a court cleared her despite a positive drugs test.
Valieva stumbled on a jump, but is in first position ahead of Thursday's free skate.

There will be no medal ceremony if she finishes in the top three.
