Uncapped Ulster hooker Tom Stewart has been drafted into the Ireland squad.
The 22-year old is to provide cover, with Ronan Kelleher nursing a hamstring injury.
Kelleher hasn’t been ruled out of Saturday’s Six Nations opener with Wales, but will be 'managed by the medical team' this week.
