Townend returns in busy day of racing at home and cross channel

Jockey Paul Townend is set to return to the saddle at Tramore today.

The seven-time champion jockey sat out yesterday's card at Punchestown due to a rib injury.

He's been booked to ride Champ Kiely in the feature Grade Three New Year's Day Chase at the Waterford track.
