Proposal submitted to UEFA and FIFA with plans for new competition

The organisation behind the failed European Super League has submitted a proposal to UEFA and FIFA with modified plans for a new competition.

A22 Sports says the Unify League will see 96 teams competing across four tiers - with qualification based on merit rather than automatic inclusion.

Last December, the European Court of Justice ruled that UEFA had acted unlawfully in blocking the original Super League proposal back in 2021.
