Rafael Nadal's to miss up to eight weeks of the tennis season because of a hip injury which contributed to his Australian Open exit.
The reigning champion was struggling to move and limped off court after his second round defeat to Mackenzie McDonald.
The problem's likely to rule Nadal out of Indian Wells and the Miami Open, two of the biggest events outside of the Grand Slams.
