Shamrock Rovers have confirmed that Stephen McPhail has resigned as the club's sporting director.
The former Republic of Ireland international had been in the job for nine years.
In his time at Tallaght Stadium, Rovers have claimed five Men's Premier Division titles, and reached the knockout stages of last season's Conference League.
