Rhys McClenaghan says he's 'disappointed' to have to sit out October's World Gymnastics Championships with a shoulder injury.
The Olympic gold medallist has undergone surgery on the issue, which he says was 'necessary' to help him continue to perform 'at the highest level for years to come'.
McClenaghan insists it's only a 'setback' in his bid to win back-to-back gold medals at the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028.
