Legendary American Skier Lindsey Vonn says she nearly lost her leg after her big crash at the Winter Olympics.
The 41 year old paid tribute to the surgeon who prevented her needing an amputation in a video on Instagram yesterday evening.
Vonn returned to the US from Italy last week after four operations.

She was racing in Milano Cortina just nine days after rupturing ligaments in her left knee.
