Leeds going up as champions

Leeds have clinched the Championship title following a 2-1 win over Plymouth on the final day of the season.

Burnley, who also took their tally to 100 points with a 3-1 victory over Millwall, miss out on top spot on goal difference.

Coventry beat Middlesbrough 2-nil to finish fifth, while Bristol City took the last play-off place after a 2-all draw with Preston, who confirmed their second tier status.

Blackburn's promotion hopes ended as they were held 1-all by Sheffield United.

Defeat for Argyle means they are relegated to League One, along with Luton - who were thrashed 5-3 at West Brom.

Hull drew 1-all with Portsmouth, and that keeps them up, while Derby and Stoke also survive after they played out a goalless draw.
