Kerry have qualified for the last 8 of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.
They beat Cavan in Killarney 3-20 to 1-17.
For Kerry Tadhg Morley started in place of Mike Breen, with Tomas Kennedy drafted into the panel. The returning Diarmuid O'Connor went off injured in the inside 3 minutes. It was 2 points all after 5 minutes. Kerry very quickly opened up a 4 points gap, a David Clifford goal being followed by a Dylan Geaney point. The next score did not arrive for a further 9 minutes, Conor Geaney putting over. David Clifford then scored a two pointer to make it 1-6 to 0-2. Clifford's second goal of the day came in the 23rd minute, having played a 1-2 with Paul Murphy. That put Kerry ten clear at 2-6 to 0-2. Two pointers from David Clifford and Sean O'Shea meant the Kingdom were ahead by 2-11 to 0-5 after 29 minutes. There was a ten point gap after the first half; 2-12 to 0-8.
