Johnstone has become the first All Blacks player to announce that he is gay.

Former New Zealand rugby union international Campbell Johnstone has become the first All Blacks player to announce that he is gay.

The 43-year-old played three times for his country - including two matches against the British and Irish Lions.

Johnstone says he had been "living a lie" before acknowledging his sexuality.
