Jarlath Burns rules himself out of running for presidency

The GAA's President Jarlath Burns has firmly ruled himself out of the running for the presidency.

Speculation in recent days had linked Burns as a potential Sinn Féin candidate, with leader Mary Lou McDonald set to announce their intentions this weekend.

But the former Armagh footballer has told The Journal that he has no intention of running for the Áras in this campaign.
