Alexander Isak is due to hold talks with Newcastle this week having arrived back at the club.
The Swedish forward had been training with his old club Real Sociedad as the rest of the Newcastle squad took part in their pre-season tour.
Isak is the subject of interest from Liverpool, with the Magpies already rejecting a bid of 110-million pounds from the Premier League champions.
