Downhill skiing legend Lindsey Vonn says she's 'confident' she'll compete in the Winter Olympics despite suffering a typically season-ending knee injury.

The American revealed she tore her ACL after crashing at a World Cup event in Switzerland on Friday.

But the 41-year-old, who won gold at the 2010 Games, says she's gone down the slopes today and feels 'strong' ahead of Sunday's event in Milan and Cortina.
