Ireland game with Israel to be played in Serbia

The FAI have confirmed that Ireland's home game with Israel will be played behind closed doors in Serbia.

The board had requested to switch the game to a neutral venue due to "operational challenges."

It will now take place at the TSC Arena on the 4th October, with further details to be confirmed shortly.

It follows confirmation of the reverse fixture being played in Hungary.

The association says it will contact season ticket holders over compensation in due course.
