Horse dies following run in Aintree Grand National

'Celebre D'Allen' has died following his run in the Aintree Grand National last Saturday.

The 13-year-old pulled up in the closing stages before collapsing.

Having been attended to by veterinary staff, 'Celebre D'Allen' has been recovering in recent days.

But trainers Philip Hobbs and Johnson White confirmed the horse died having 'deteriorated significantly' overnight.
