Ger Brennan has been confirmed as the new manager of the Dublin senior footballers on a three-year term.
A two-time All-Ireland winner with the Dubs, Brennan most recently coached Louth to this year's Leinster title.
Declan Darcy, who served as Jim Gavin's assistant coach, was rumoured to be the frontrunner for the role.
