Needing a result in their final group game to progress, Kerry responded to a 2-0 loss earlier in the day in style with a dominant 6-1 win over Inishowen.
From the outset, Kerry were in control, and Eilidh Cregan’s seventh-minute strike set the tone. Despite conceding a stunning free-kick to make it 1-1, Kerry hit back immediately through Cregan again.
In the second half, they turned on the style, Alannah Daly, Lillian Slattery, Isabelle O’Connor, and Orlaith Flynn all found the net as Kerry produced some of their finest football of the tournament.
Kerry’s commanding performance sees them progress to the Bowl quarter-finals full of confidence and looking to build on their strong finish in the group stage.
The Girls take on NERL in their quarter final clash at 2pm today.
