Gavin White will captain the Kerry Senior footballers in 2025.
The defender has been nominated for the role by his club, County champions Dr.Crokes.
White will be absent when the Kingdom begin their League season against Donegal on Sunday, in Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney.

The Crokes and Stacks players will not be considered for the game following their respective runs to All-Ireland club semi-finals.
