Fossa are through to the Kerry Petroleum Intermediate Club Football Championship final.

At Austin Stack Park in Tralee they got the better of Kilcummin by 3-14 to 0-20.

It was a point apiece after 3 minutes, 2 all with 8 on the clock. Fossa opened up a 4 points to 3 lead by the 12th minute. A David Clifford two pointer extended that gap to 3. Paudie Clifford made it 7 to 3 in the 23rd minute. Aided by a strong wind Fossa were ahead by 10 points to 4 at half time.

Led by 3 points from Paul O'Shea, Kilcummin got it back to a 1 point game; 10 points to 9 four minutes into the second period. Emmett O'Shea doubled the lead for Fossa two minutes later. A poor kickout gave Fossa possession, resulting in a David Clifford goal to make it 1-12 to 0-9 after 39 minutes. Fossa were ahead by 1-13 to 12 points heading into the final quarter. A Cian Foley two pointer halved that advantage in the 49th minute. Mark O'Shea brought the game level with a two pointer of his own a minute later. That made it Kilcummin 0-16 Fossa 1-13. It remained level with 5 minutes to go after both tagged on a point.

A Paddy Sheehan goal put Fossa back in front at 2-14 to 0-17; 5 minutes left on the clock. After Kilcummin pointed to cut the gap, Fossa netted again-Emmett O'Shea blasting home to put his side 5 clear. Paul O'Shea responded with a Kilcummin 2 pointer to make it a 3 point game. The game went down to the wire, Kilcummin hitting the post late on but Fossa got over the line.

The second intermediate semi in Milltown saw An Ghaeltacht defeat Legion 2-16 to 2-14.
