New Zealand head-coach Ian Foster has confirmed that former Ireland boss Joe Schmidt will be a 'selector and opposition analyst' with the All-Blacks for the Rugby Championship.
Foster insists that Schmidt's role has not increased in the wake of New Zealand's series defeat to Ireland and that the ex Leinster coach won't be travelling with the squad to South Africa.
The All-Blacks head-coach re-iterated his belief that he's the right man to lead the team into next year's World Cup, despite their poor recent form.
