Ferguson, Bazunu and Ogbene in the running for Ireland men's player of the year

Evan Ferguson, Gavin Bazunu and Chiedozie Ogbene are in the running to be named Ireland men's player of the year at next week's FAI International Awards.

Courtney Brosnan, Niamh Fahey, and captain Katie McCabe have been shortlisted for women's player of the year.

McCabe's goals against Canada and Northern Ireland last season are both nominated for goal of the year, alongside Andy Moran's strike against Turkey for the men's under-21s.
