Everton reportedly closing in on deal to sign Ireland goalkeeper

Everton are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Mark Travers.

The Liverpool Echo claims that the Toffees are negotiating a fee with Bournemouth as they look to sign a back-up to Jordan Pickford.

Manchester United are being sued by former player Axel Tuanzebe for "clinical negligence".

The 27-year-old - who left OId Trafford two years ago - has lodged a legal claim at the High Court related to "medical advice" he was given.

Tuanzebe signed for Burnley earlier this summer.

Notts County defender Lewis Macari has been charged for breaching betting rules by the English F-A.

The 23-year-old is alleged to have placed over 350 bets between February 2020 and December 2022.

Macari was on the books at Stoke City when he's alleged to have placed the bets and was on loan at Dundalk during that time.

He has been given until July 18th to respond to the charges.
