
Dr Crokes are through to the final of the Kerry Petroleum Senior Club Football >Championship.


They've beaten Kenmare 0-17 to 1-9 at Austin Stack Park in Tralee.



Crokes raced into an 8 points to 1 by the quarter hour stage. It was 9 to 3 after 20 minutes. Croke led 11 to 4 at the break. Tony Brosnan led the way with 6 of those points. Kenmare got a much needed goal in the opening minute of the second period; Tom Murnane the scorer. Crokes were ahead by 6, at 0-14 to 1-5, with 42 minutes on the clock. Kenmare had the next 3 points to move within 3 with 10 minutes to go. The gap was still three with 5 to go, at 0-15 to 1-9. Crokes scored the next two points to go 5 clear. That was their winning margin.
