The Bon Secours Ladies County Junior B Football Championship final has been won by Glenflesk.
They defeated Kerins O’Rahillys in Fossa by 3-11 to 1-10.
A Niamh Brosnan goal after 5 minutes had Glenflesk in front by 1-1 to no score. The next score was also a goal, Aoibhin O'Connor McCarthy netting from a penalty for Rahillys. It was 1-2 apiece after 15 minutes and 1-3 all after 20. Glenflesk went 3 in front and doubled the lead on the stroke of half time thanks to a Caoimhe Crowley goal. At the break they were ahead by 2-6 to 1-3.
Glenflesk had a 5 point advantage at the 3/4 stage at 2-8 to 1-6. They then went 7 up. Rahillys got it back to 5 with 9 minutes to go at 2-10 to 1-8 but never got any closer. A Muireann Healy goal towards the end helped Glenflesk to a 7 point victory.
