Sligo Rovers are vowing to fight their corner amid claims they fielded an ineligible player last week.
The FAI say Adam McDonnell should have been suspended for the 2-nil win over Dundalk in the SSE Airtricity Premier Division.
If found guilty, Sligo could see the three points awarded to Dundalk.
