Manchester City are optimistic Erling Haaland’s latest injury setback is only minor.
The Norwegian striker sat out Saturday’s 1-0 Premier League win away to Leeds after picking up a problem in training.
Pep Guardiola offered little detail on the issue but it’s understood not to be serious.
Haaland, who has 29 goals in all competitions this season, will be monitored over the next 48 hours ahead of Wednesday night’s meeting with Nottingham Forest at the Etihad.

Jose Mourinho says Gianluca Prestianni’s future at Benfica will be over if he’s found guilty of racially abusing Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior.
The 20-year-old Argentine is under UEFA investigation following an alleged incident during last month’s Champions League play-off in Lisbon.
Prestianni denies the accusation and has already served a provisional one-match suspension.
UEFA’s investigation is ongoing.
