Bulls prop Bismarck du Plessis escapes with 3 game ban for horror challenge on Munster player

Vodacom Bulls prop Bismarck du Plessis has escaped with a three-game ban for a horror challenge on Munster’s Alex Kendellen.

Du Plessis was shown a red card for lifting and tipping the Munster number-8 over his back.

But his previous record and acceptance of his guilt meant a six-game ban was cut in half, with two games of his suspension already served.
