In Episode 7, Kian O'Gorman, a student on the Journalism, Podcasting and Radio course at Kerry College and Radio Kerry, explores the rapidly changing media landscape young people are growing up in and the skills needed to navigate it safely and responsibly. Through conversations with Martina Chapman, National Coordinator of Media Literacy Ireland, and Kerry content creator Séaghan Ó Súilleabháin, better known as the Kerry Cowboy, the programme examines media literacy, misinformation, disinformation, artificial intelligence, social media, online content creation and the growing importance of critical thinking in a digital world. The episode also explores the responsibility that comes with creating content online and the role social media can play in connecting young people with culture, language and community.
