Daithí Fitzgerald is the chairperson of Sinn Féin in Kerry.

He attended recently a Commission on the Future of Ireland conference on Irish unity, which was hosted by Sinn Féin MEPs Lynn Boylan and Kathleen Funchion in the European Parliament.

The 24-year-old addressed the event where he highlighted, what he believes is, the need to ensure that rural areas such as Kerry and the concerns of young people are not being overlooked or sidelined.
