Father's Hope That Governments Will Finally Hold Social Media Giants to Account - August 16th, 2024

Last May, Jerry spoke to Tralee native Liam Walsh about his campaign, along with other bereaved families, to get information from social media companies about harmful content which they believe may have contributed to their children's deaths.

Liam's 13-year-old daughter, Maia, was found dead in her home in Hertfordshire, England in October 2022.

Mr Walsh, who's originally from The Spa, Tralee, believes Maia was prompted to self-harm by online content, in particular, on TikTok.
