A woman, who was injured in a road traffic collision near Castleisland on Wednesday (10th December 2025), has passed away.
The single-vehicle collision happened at approximately 11:40pm, on the N23 at Lisheenbaun.
The female driver and sole occupant of the car, aged in her 70s, was taken to University Hospital Kerry.
Gardaí have renewed their appeal for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
They are particularly eager for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the N23 in the Lisheenbaun, Castleisland area between 11:20 and 11:50pm to make it available to Gardaí.
