A West Kerry OPW site which had undergone repairs in recent years has remained closed this year.
Dúnbeg Fort is a privately-owned national monument under the guardianship of the Office of Public Works.
Following the loss of part of the monument due to coastal erosion in recent years, the OPW undertook works to make the remaining portion safe for visitors to view.
However, as a result of COVID-19 restrictions, the site did not reopen to visitors.
