A West Kerry centre for people with disabilities has received a positive report from the health watchdog.
The Health Information and Quality Authority carried out an unannounced inspection at Camphill Community Dingle in November (4th).
The facility for people with disabilities was inspected across 17 areas of the Health Act 2007, and was found to be fully compliant in 16.
Inspectors said the centre was substantially compliant in one category – individual assessment and personal plan.
Overall, HIQA found Camphill Community Dingle has made significant progress in several areas on the centre’s previous inspection.
Inspectors found that staff and management were working to ensure residents had access to opportunities and activities that they enjoyed.
