A status yellow high temperature warning continues today for Kerry, as well as Cork, Limerick, Galway and Mayo.
Met Éireann says temperatures will again exceed 27 degrees, with warm, humid nights bringing the risk of heat stress and uncomfortable sleeping conditions.
With thousands expected to head to beaches, lakes and rivers, the public is also being urged to take extra care around water.
