Irish Water had to temporarily shut down the Water Treatment Plant at Dromin, Listowel last night, following an oil leak in the River Feale
Some customers in Listowel and surrounding areas experienced low water pressure and/or water outages for a period of time this morning.
Irish Water's Redmond Burke says they had to shut down the Plant, as the oil leak in the River Feale is close to the water intake point at Scartleigh.
