Visitor restrictions are in place at Cork University Hospital to reduce the spread of Norovirus, the vomiting bug.
An outbreak of Norovirus is affecting two wards at the hospital, with two other wards under observation.
Only one visitor is allowed per patient, and visiting hours must be adhered to; anyone visiting the hospital is also asked to use the alcohol hand gels supplied as they enter and leave the hospital.
The HSE South West says the measures will be lifted as soon as possible.
