Valentia Coastguard responded to over 800 rescue call outs last year.
New figures show the Irish Coastguard responded to almost 3,000 incidents (2,793) in 2025, up 9.4% in a year.
Valentia Marine Rescue coordinated 877 rescues, with helicopter support operating from Shannon, Dublin and Sligo.
Valentia Coastguard tasked the RNLI to incidents just under 800 (798) times, while it activated community inshore rescues services on 121 occasions.
The report shows, nationally, more than 1,900 (1,941) people received critical, life-saving assistance and medical care from the Irish Coastguard in 2025.
