Valentia Coast Guard is coordinating the rescue of 12 people whose boat got into difficulty off the south-west coast.
The marine rescue coordination centre in South Kerry received a mayday just before 6 o'clock this morning from a fishing vessel that was taking water, 53 nautical miles south west of Dursey Head in Cork.
Valentia tasked the Shannon-based Coast Guard helicopter R115 and fixed wing aircraft, as well as Castletownbere and Baltimore lifeboats.
The crew were evacuated to a life raft and are being brought by lifeboat into Castletownbere.
The 12 people didn't require any medical attention.
