A plaque will be unveiled this evening at a Killarney bridge in memory of the late Kerry TD, Jackie Healy-Rae.
The Barraduff bridge, which crosses over the Owneycree River on the main Killarney to Mallow road, will be named after the Kilgarvan man.
Jackie Healy-Rae served as an independent TD for Kerry from 1997 until 2011; he passed away in December 2014, aged 83.
All of the six Killarney based county councillors voted in favour of dedicating the bridge to the late TD at a recent meeting.
The Jackie Healy-Rae bridge will be unveiled this evening at 6 o'clock.
