Uisce Éireann is seeking planning permission for a new operations centre in Tralee.
The national utility has applied for planning to set up the operations centre in part of the former BorgWarner building at the Monavalley Industrial Estate.
The former factory has been subdivided into separate units, and Uisce Éireann now plans to lease one unit of the warehouse.

The proposed operations centre will mainly consist of storage space for parts, machinery, and equipment necessary for the maintenance of local wastewater treatment plants, as well as office space.
Kerry County Council is due to decide on the planning application by 9th August.
